After the Christmas Break

Agility training restarted on Monday 30th January.

Obedience training restarted on Wednesday 18th January.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting was held at Hill Farm (the Agility winter venue)
on Thursday 30th March at 7:30pm.
Agility Summer Training

Outdoor summer training started on 24 April.
Details of the times and venue are on the Agility page.
There was a working party to prepare the field on 14 April.
Thank you to everyone who came along.


Flyball restarted at the agility field on 25 April.

Agility Starter Courses

Agility starter courses are 6 week courses for beginners over 12 months. Please contact us to put your name down for a course.

Club Demos

There are a number of demonstrations throughout the year showing our agility and our obedience skills.  If you are interested in participating (as a Club member) in either of the demonstration teams, please contact us for more details.

Agility Ring Parties

Throughout the summer season, members will compete in agility at various Club's shows.  To assist in the running of those shows, Burnham and District Dog training offer their help by way of managing one of the rings.

Have a Go Fun Show

Our Have a Go Fun Shows are very popular. They are open to Club Members and Invited Guests. We hope to hold another one in 2017.

If you haven't competed at an agility show the Fun Show gives you the opportunity to experience what an agility show is like.

Christmas Party & Awards Presentation

It is that time of year when we enjoy an evening of festive fun and present the awards achieved during the year.

This takes place at the indoor arena where agility normally takes place (click here address and map) and is a fun evening for both owners and their dogs.  Friends and family welcome to join us. Starting at 7.30 there is a fancy dress competition for your dogs to take part in with prizes for the best outfits, followed by a demo of heelwork to music and then party games for you and your dogs to take part in.  Prizes for the winners (for your dog!). The evening then moves into the heated hall where hot and cold drinks are provided and the awards are presented together with special trophys being presented for each group chosen by the trainers. 

Please arrive for 7, for a 7.30 start and bring a small contribution of food for the buffet.

Christmas Break

The last evening of training before Christmas is [date TBA] - this will be a fun evening, with classes for everyone. There will be a training day during January, date to be arranged. Normal training will restart in the new year on Monday [date TBA].
